Thanks to the partnership with QXI International, ASV Performance has made the biggest breakthrough in the kiteboarding industry by equipping each of the seven Volvo65 ocean racing yachts with kites during the Volvo Ocean Race 2014-2105 Edition.
As designer and manufacture partner in the QXI International run of 'GHQ Rescue Kite', Simone and ASV have proudly worked for several months to provide the Volvo65 with a rescue kite system that could be deployed in case of emergency, improving safety for the teams involved in one of toughest and greatest races in the world.
The Freeride 2 project is a movie that we made as we traveled around the world Kiteboarding in 2013. It follows the lives of Aaron Hadlow, Sam Light, James Boulding and Tom Court as we travel, ride or compete wherever we go. This is the third stop of the movie, in Russia. It was a windy Summer in Portugal, but we didn´t had that lucky with the waves. The good thing of the small waves was that we could get fun sessions riding strapless freestyle tricks. Some of the days were recorded and here you can see them. Seat down and enjoy the video featuring Paulino Pereira in his Pocket Beaches.

The Noise Pro is specifically designed to withstand the rigors of kitesurfing in the waves whilst providing the high performance demanded by elite team riders such as Ian Alldredge & Josh Mulcoy. This season’s Noise Pro features a slightly altered bridle to further increase the kite’s down-the-line drift and surf performance.

Last year the NEO was redeveloped as a pure wave-riding kite, focusing on the qualities that riders demand in waves. The kite not only impressed the riders, but also won several magazine tests in its class. This year the NEO has been completely reworked to further improve its performance. The NEO still has amazing drift capabilities, but the top end has also been improved while keeping the amazing low end. The kite has excellent sheet and go characteristics, meaning you can either dump power, or use it according to where you are on the wave and how it is breaking. this will get you out of difficult situations, but it also makes riding waves easier and flying the neo is very instinctive. For 2015 we recommend using a kite 1-2 sizes smaller than you would normally as the low end is so impressive! The world’s best wave riders all love the neo and when you fly one on the waves, you’ll fall in love too!
