Francisco Lufinha is a young sailor that wants to connect the entire Portuguese territory Kitesurfing, setting new world records and promoting the sea and nautical sports. 

The documentary transports the spectator to Francisco’s latest world record, between Lisbon and Madeira Island. 

Exclusive images captured in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, during the 48 hours that the kitesurfer stood on top of his board, as well as several flashbacks showing the odyssey preparation.

Super Sunday @ Ponta Preta

It happens once every 7 year at Ponta Preta, waves as big as houses. We were lucky to be there to capture Elvis Jose Almeida Nunes on Super Sunday. 

 After kitesurfing the big waves for a couple of hours, Elvis was unlucky, got thrown off his board by the foam crashed his kite and spent almost 2 minutes under. His friend Airton rescued him and he got back out there!

Ice Session

On the way home from an epic day snowkiting at Skyline, we decided to hop in the water for the first time this season. Utah Lake was almost entirely frozen but I found an open area to kite after crawling over the ice shelf. It ended up being on my best, and coldest sessions. The air temp was around 48 degrees and the water reported at 32 degrees. Thanks again to Jake Dodge for capturing the moment, one of the best drone pilots around!
